I grew up in a small town in Michigan. Growing up, I enjoyed hiking, swimming, and downhill skiing. After I graduated high school, I moved to Denver Colorado, where I continued my love for downhill skiing and hiking. I attended and graduated from Colorado Christian University where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science and a minor in Biblical Studies.

I moved to Humble in 2005 with my husband and started my career in education. I attended Sam Houston State University and graduated with a Masters of Education in Instructional Leadership.

This will be my 16th year teaching.  I love Groves Elementary and am excited about this next school year!
