• Ciao,

Benvenuto! It means "Welcome" in Italian. My name is Kristi Yetter, but I go by Ms. Kris. I spent about three-and-a half years in Italy, before returning to my home town of Spring, Texas. Before Italy, I had the opportunity to live in North Dakota, Louisiana, and California. I attended University at Louisiana State University- Shreveport, where I obtained my Bachelor's in Psychology. A few years later, I decided I wanted to return to University and get my Master's Degree, Master of Business Administration (MBA) - Human Resources at University of La Verne. After that, I decided to be my own boss. I had my own business teaching Art to many budding artists. I so enjoy creative minds! We each have our own personal educational voice and I want to ensure I support and nurture each one of my students' educational experiences. I decided that I wanted to spend more time with my beautiful daughter and become an Elementary Teacher. Here I am ready and excited to guide each one of my wonderful artists through my love of travel and the arts!

    Life Outside of the Classroom...

I enjoy spending time with my lovely daughter, Aubrey, and have a passion for traveling. Also, I enjoy the arts (music, painting, drawing, and well... just creating)! When I have some down time, I enjoy escaping into a book or two. Fun facts: I helped paint and design sets for a theater company in Italy, and I am a musician who sings in a few Italian choirs during the summer months.

I look forward to meeting each one of your wonderful artists!

    Your Art Guru-Teacher,

    Ms. Kris

Ciao! ("Hello" in Italian)
