Immunization Clinics

  • As a convenience to families, Humble ISD has partnered with the Texas Vaccine Institute to offer immunization clinics that are open to all students.

Clinics to be held in Humble ISD:

Please have the immunization record of each child receiving an immunization or the Humble ISD notice of required immunizations for each child when you come to the clinic.

    Payment options:

    • The cost of the immunizations for children (18 years old or younger) is $15 for 1 vaccine, $25 for 2 vaccines, and $30 for 3 or more vaccines.

    • The Texas Vaccine Institute only accepts private insurance or cash, they do not accept Medicaid or Chips.

    What Immunizations are required?

    • According to your child’s age and vaccine record, your child will need the following vaccines:
    • Meningitis (MCV4) is mandatory for seventh graders, and college students. Seventh graders also require the Tdap vaccine.

    • NEW as of 2020-2021: Hepatitis A (two doses) is now required for all high school students.

These clinics will have vaccines required under Texas law for students. They will not have the COVID vaccine.

Important note: If a person receives a vaccine, they have to wait at least 15 days before they can get a COVID vaccine. If a person has received a COVID vaccine 15 days prior to wanting/needing to receive other vaccines, they must wait for the 15 day period to end before receiving the other vaccines.

All students must be immunized in accordance with state law before entering Texas schools. For questions or more information, please visit the Humble ISD Health Services website or call 281-641-8422.
