Regional Astronomy Day at the Insperity Observatory

Weather Update: We will have the Regional Astronomy Day at the Insperity Observatory, but the weather is not cooperating. Some activities will not be able to happen. We hope you will join us, but be careful. Take no chances with severe weather and high water.
While the sun is stillup, there will be daytime activities:
- Tours of the Observatory
- Tours of the Astronomy in Art exhibits (weather permitting)
- Solar observing - CANCELLED

- Outdoor Presentations
- Activity Tables for youth
After Sunset, the fun continues:
- Observing through the telescopes inside the observatory - CANCELLED
- Observing through the astronomer deck telescopes - CANCELLED

- This is a map of the layout of activities at Astronomy Day at the Insperity Observatory - Springtime.
- Parking for those with special needs will be provided near the location identified as Deck Scopes of the map.
- If visitor parking is full, we will have additional parking availabe across the streek at The Luke Church.
- If this parking is also full, additional parking will be available in the overflow parking lot at the Humble Civic Center.

- If necessary, additional parking will be provided at the Humble High School, Turner Stadium "Visitor" parking lot as shown in the map.
- A shuttle bus will be provided.
