Welcome to the Middle School Transition Page for the 2022-2023 School Year.  All dates are currently TBD. However, we will be updating this information in our quarterly newsletter as we are getting new information. The events listed below are ways that we support our students to prepare for middle school. 

• Fifth-grade personalized meetings to help students determine strengths, areas of growth, and possible careers.
• Fifth-grade students Middle School Field Trip to learn about sixth-grade expectations and their scheduling options. 
• Career Exploration Videos will be shown in the classroom prior to the middle school visit
• Music petting zoo in the elementary music classroom facilitated by middle school music teachers
•  West Lake Middle School Parent Night
• Autumn Ridge Middle School Parent Night
  
• Middle School Counselors visit Groves Elementary to Input Courses
