Hello Wildcats, and welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! I may look familiar to some of you, as I am coming from Lakeland Elementary. I am thrilled to be at Humble High School, and I look forward to a year full of love, laughter, and learning. Whether you are in English III or English IV, we are going to delve into some amazing literature, view the world from varying perspectives, explore the depths of our imaginations, and strengthen our reading, writing, and communication skills!

I hold a B.A. in English and a M.A. in Literature and Creative Writing. I enjoy spending time with my family and many, many.... many pets. I love to tend to my plants, read, and write. A guilty pleasure I have is kicking back and binging a really good series, so if you ever need any good suggestions, just ask! I hope I can find that excitement with books as well; this year, we will work to find the "just right" book for you!
