Dear Parents,

            Welcome! I am so pleased to have your child in my Dance class this school year! I have planned an exciting year filled with lots of activities. I’m looking forward to getting to know you and your child. I have high expectations and I will do all I can to help your child achieve those expectations. I know that you want your child to be successful and this can be done if we work as a team.  I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Thinyia Maxey-Johnson and I am honored to be your child’s Dance teacher. This is my eleventh-year teaching. I am very excited to be a member of the Humble Middle School Family. I hope the following information regarding my expectations and policies will make this school year a rewarding and successful one.   I am looking forward to building a learning relationship with your child this year.
