Guest teacher pay increase continues throughout the spring semester
Guest teachers in Humble ISD will continue to receive an extra $40 per day in pay through May 27, 2022, under a temporary pay increase approved by the Board of Trustees. With the extra $40, guest teachers in Humble ISD will continue to earn $120 per day with 60 or more college hours, $130 per day if degreed, and $140 per day if a Texas certified teacher. For a retired Humble ISD teacher, the rate is $175 per day.

Humble ISD Family Resource and Transition Fair
Humble ISD is having a free Family Resource and Transition Fair on February 19, 2022 from 9am - 1pm at the Instructional Support Center (ISC) in Kingwood.
This event is set to have dozens of service providers in the local community who specialize in supporting and providing programs for children and adults with disabilities. Parents, students, staff and community members are all invited to come learn about the community services available for children and adults with disabilities. This includes day programs, college supports, summer camps, community homes, drivers training, work supports and much more!

What is Watch D.O.G.S.?
WATCH D.O.G.S. is one of the nation’s largest and most respected school-based, family, and community engagement organizations in the country. Since the program’s creation in 1998, more than 6,800 schools across the country have launched a WATCH D.O.G.S. program of their own. Each school year hundreds of thousands of fathers and father-figures make a positive impact on millions of children by volunteering millions of hours in their local schools through this amazing one-of-a-kind program. Who are WatchDOGS? Fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers, uncles, and other father figures who volunteer to serve at least one day a year in a variety of school activities as assigned by the school principal or other administrator.
We are looking forward to welcoming our amazing Watch D.O.G.S. back on campus beginning January 18th! If you are interested in volunteering, please complete and return the registration form as well as the Humble ISD application. Once you return the registration form and receive approval for the Humble ISD, you are welcome to sign up by using the sign up genius link below.

Autumn Ridge Middle School Attendance Area Approved
Autumn Ridge Middle School (MS#10), which opens in August 2022, is being built at 15201 Woodland Hills Drive, near Ridge Creek Elementary School. The Recommended Attendance Area for ARMS was approved at the May 11 meeting of the Humble ISD Board of Trustees.
