Michael Heckman

Hello, my name is Michael Heckman, and I am proud to call myself an educator for Humble ISD. I moved to the Kingwood area in 1980 and was part of the first eighth-grade class from Creekwood Middle School. I graduated from Kingwood High School and went on to earn my degree in Health Education from the University of Houston. I completed my Master’s Degree in Education Administration from Concordia University, Austin.

I have worked in Humble ISD for the past 19 years here at the Community Learning Center. I have also served as a volunteer baseball coach at Kingwood High School for twelve years. Within my community I was proud to serve as a member of the Kingwood Volunteer Fire Department where I enjoyed giving back to those individuals I called my neighbors. I have my beautiful twin boys Joseph and Jacob, age 13, who joyfully occupy most of my time when I am not at the CLC.

I believe our campus offers students the ability to improve decision-making skills in a structured environment so they may meet the challenges of tomorrow.
