District COVID testing sites for students closed Thanksgiving week; reopen on Nov. 30
Humble ISD’s COVID testing sites for students will be closed the week of Thanksgiving and reopen on Monday, Nov. 30. The district offers free, optional COVID testing to students who attend school on campus and whose parents would like for them to be tested. Parents make a request through the online Student COVID-19 Curbside Test Request Form. Humble ISD schools are closed the week of Thanksgiving, November 23-27. Classes resume Monday, November 30. Atascosita Presbyterian Church, 19426 Atasca Oaks Drive, 77346, is a site for COVID-19 testing offered by Harris County Public Health on Monday, Nov. 23 – Wednesday, Nov. 25. Open 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Register at www.hcphtx.us or call 832-927-7575. Appointments preferred. Walk-Ins welcome.

High School courses will have summative tests, not finals, due to COVID adjustments

Special Programs and Recreation for Kids (SPARK) is an interactive program for families of preschool age children (in the age range of 3-5 by September 1st of the current school year). SPARK includes activities such as story time, fieldtrips, arts and crafts, play days at local parks and cooking with kids.
The Behavior Training Center is an educational placement that focuses on the stabilization of students, grades 2-12, who have failed to respond to campus level intervention. BTC serves as a transitional intervention between more restrictive placements and Humble ISD.
MOSAIC is the innovative 18+ transition program for Humble ISD students who received special education services through modified high school curriculum and who are ready to actively transition into young adult life. MOSAIC serves young adult students who have completed all of their high school credits and state testing requirements and have specific transition needs.
