  • Pass/Fail paperwork due Friday
    To encourage more students to participate in upper level courses and to pursue specific interests in a four-year sequence of courses for which there is no honors designation, the district will allow high school students to apply for a Pass/Fail grading option for any course above and beyond graduation requirements. All paperwork is due Friday at 3 p.m.

  • First late arrival day is Oct. 22
    The new bell schedule is posted for late arrival Thursdays. The first one will be Oct. 22. The other current days slated for late arrival on Thursdays are Oct. 29, Nov. 12, Dec. 3, Jan. 14, Jan. 28, Feb. 18, March 4, March 25, April 22, April 29.

  • Virtual students picture, class shirt pick-up
    Any virtual students who need to pick up their school photos or their class t-shirts can do so from the reception desk any day between 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.

  • School Pictures update, retakes set for Oct. 21
    Scott Tate will return to campus on Oct. 21 to take photos of any freshmen through seniors who missed the original photo days in September. They will also retake photos of any students who return their  original picture packets and want to be reshot. Scott Tate will be on campus from 7:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. for in-person students. Virtual students can get their photos taken between 3-5 p.m. This will be the last chance to have their photos taken to be included in the 2021 Yearbook.
    Retake forms for seniors and underclassmen are available online or at school. 
       

    Parents who have NOT ordered a picture packet from our original picture dates can go to the Scott Tate website and use the code: PPL20. Late orders will be delivered directly to their homes.

  • PSAT bell schedule
    Freshmen through juniors will take the PSAT on Wednesday. Once the test is over, the students will attend 6th and 7th periods on the special bell schedule. Seniors will remain home all day and work on homework and enrichment assignments.

  • Submit your entries for PTA's Reflections program
    Reflections has been a staple arts program in schools for more than 50 years. Unlock your creativity in the areas of dance, choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography and visual arts. This year's theme is "I Matter Because." The deadline for submissions is Oct. 30.

  • Senior Ad deadline quickly approaching
    The yearbook is offering friends and family an opportunity to send a special message of congratulations, pride or love to their favorite KPARK student[s]. You can create the ad yourself at yearbookforever.com. Add your photos, add your message and complete the design by Oct. 22 to make sure space is available. Contact yearbook adviser Megan Ortiz at mmortiz@humblisd.net with any questions.

    Humble ISD understands that each family has unique concerns, due to health or other circumstances, about returning to daily routines while coexisting with COVID-19.   • Panther Cards for sale online, join booster club
    Please help the All-Sports Booster Club get off to a strong start this year by purchasing Panther Cards and joining the booster club. Support local businesses while also saving a lot of money with a Panther Card. All purchases can be made online. If you want a specific athlete to get credit for the Panther Card purchase, you can list their name when you purchase the card online.
