Vision

The vision of the Elementary Science Department is to provide an instructional environment in which students can develop science literacy to understand and solve real-world problems and acquire knowledge through active observation and experimentation.

Goals 2022-2023

• Offer professional learning opportunities to support teachers in their efforts to promote the development of science literacy within their students. As it relates to the reading, viewing, writing, speaking and listening that students use to access, understand and communicate scientific knowledge.
