What is the Ross Sterling PTA?
"We are a small group of excited, enthusiastic parents who are working on revitalizing our PTA. We need your help! We are short three Board positions: Reflections, Hospitality, and Volunteer Coordinator. Please Contact PTA President Candy Todash at email@example.com for more information.
The goal of the PTA is to provide programs to enhance the education as well as the health and well being of our students. To have programs, we need funds. Our first goal is to raise funds which we will do by selling concessions at the volleyball games and other events. We need volunteers to run the concession stand in the evening. Dates and times are sent weekly. We also have a fundraiser with the Big Kahuna company with kick-off beginning Friday, September 30, 2016. There are some wonderful incentives for students and teachers who participate. If every family in Ross Sterling purchases just one item, our PTA will be in great shape! Please see below for the programs we would like to accomplish this year."We would like to issue to our parents the "One Hour Challenge". Please try to find just 60 minutes a month to be involved at your child's school, even if it is just shopping for a donation for an event or attending a school event. Out of 43,200 minutes in month, just set aside 60 to get involved at your school - that is 1/13 of 1% of your total month's time. Look for upcoming volunteer opportunities. Parent involvement at school creates more successful students and a more unified school. Plus it will make you feel good too! Contact any of our listed officers if you have questions or want to help. All are welcome!!
