District COVID testing sites for students closed Thanksgiving week; reopen on Nov. 30
Humble ISD’s COVID testing sites for students will be closed the week of Thanksgiving and reopen on Monday, Nov. 30. The district offers free, optional COVID testing to students who attend school on campus and whose parents would like for them to be tested. Parents make a request through the online Student COVID-19 Curbside Test Request Form. Humble ISD schools are closed the week of Thanksgiving, November 23-27. Classes resume Monday, November 30. Atascosita Presbyterian Church, 19426 Atasca Oaks Drive, 77346, is a site for COVID-19 testing offered by Harris County Public Health on Monday, Nov. 23 – Wednesday, Nov. 25. Open 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Register at www.hcphtx.us or call 832-927-7575. Appointments preferred. Walk-Ins welcome.

CMS Boys Basketball Tryouts
Tryouts for the boys basketball team will be held November 30-December 2. You must attend all 3 days.
7th Grade: Before school 7:15 am - through 1st period
8th Grade: After school 7th period - 5:15 pm
You must have an Humble ISD physical form on file. For more information, contact the coaches.
Book Fair Volunteers Needed
The CMS Book Fair will be held December 7-11 with set-up on December 4. We are looking for volunteers to assist the librarian and students with set-up, purchasing, and clean-up. Volunteers can sign up for a 2 hour shift. Please make sure you have completed the District Background Check. Find an available time slot on the Book Fair Volunteer Sign Up. PTA Reflections Competition
CMS PTA is accepting entries for the Reflections competition now through December 4. This competition allows students to express their creative abilities through Visual Arts, Photography, Literature, Dance, Music, Film Production and through the Special Artist Division. This year's theme is "I Matter Because." For details on how to enter the competition and for a complete set of rules, please visit the Reflections participation website. Copies of entry forms and competition rules are also available in the front office.
