Kindergarten Round Up
2022-2023 Kindergarten Roundup Dates Announced
Humble ISD elementary schools have scheduled Kindergarten Roundups during the month of April. These events provide an opportunity for families to learn about the kindergarten program and registration process.Students must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2022 to qualify for Kindergarten. The first day of school for the 2022-2023 school year is Tuesday, August 9, 2022.
Beginning April 7, 2022, new Kindergarten parents will need to pre-register their new student(s) online at www.humbleisd.net/prekkinder.
Willow Creek’s Kindergarten Round Up will be held Thursday, April 21st at 4:30 in the library. This event is for adults only. Kindergarten students will meet their teacher and visit the classroom in August. Information on kindergarten readiness, preregistration, and other information will be provided. Please share this with any friends and neighbors who have a child that will be enrolling in Kindergarten in August.

Humble ISD School Board approves raises for all staff
Humble ISD teacher pay is projected to be among the highest in the Houston area under a new compensation plan approved on May 24 by the Board of Trustees for the 2022-2023 school year.

2022 Bilingual/ESL PreKindergarten and Kindergarten Summer School Program
Humble ISD offers a summer school program for bilingual/ESL students in PreK and Kindergarten at no cost. Spring Semester 2022
Over the Winter Break, Humble ISD has been working in partnership with health and government leaders to monitor the impact of the Omicron variant of COVID-19. Plans in place for the Spring Semester 2022.

Guest teacher pay increase continues throughout the spring semester
Guest teachers in Humble ISD will continue to receive an extra $40 per day in pay through May 27, 2022, under a temporary pay increase approved by the Board of Trustees. With the extra $40, guest teachers in Humble ISD will continue to earn $120 per day with 60 or more college hours, $130 per day if degreed, and $140 per day if a Texas certified teacher. For a retired Humble ISD teacher, the rate is $175 per day.
