Thanksgiving Food Drive and “Cans, Not Cash!” Opportunity
As part of our food drive this year, we are extending a special opportunity to our students - “Cans, Not Cash!”
Items for the food drive will be accepted in place of ‘payment’ for any ID fines your student has accrued up to this point in the semester
KHS is hosting a Thanksgiving food drive from now through Thursday, November 17.
You may drop off items in each house office.
Suggested items include: canned vegetables, canned soup, dry beans/rice, canned gravy, stuffing or cornbread mix.
As part of our food drive this year, we are extending a special opportunity to our students -
“Cans, Not Cash!” Items for the food drive will be accepted in place of ‘payment’ for any ID fines your student has accrued up to this point in the semester.
For each item that your student donates, $1.00 will be deducted from his/her ID badge fines.
Students may also donate food items toward the purchase of a new ID badge.
In order to take advantage of this ‘fine forgiveness,’ your student must deliver items to his/her House Office Assistant no later than Wednesday, November 16.
If you have questions about what your student owes, please contact his/her House Office Assistant.
