Mrs. Jack’s passion is in providing quality and accessible music education for all. She has served as a counselor for Lamar University’s choir camp for years and has recently transitioned into managing this competitive camp. In Spring of 2022 she was named Rookie Teacher of the Year for the 2021-2022 school year in PAISD.
Mrs. Jack received her Bachelor of Music degree from Lamar University and studied voice pedagogy under Debra Greschner and conducting under Dr. James Han. She was the founding President of Lamar University’s chapter of the Student National Association of Teachers of Singing. While at Lamar, Mrs. Jack sang with the A Cappella choir and Grand Chorus under the direction of Dr. James Han. She toured with the choirs throughout Texas. Mrs. Jack has performed regionally with Lamar’s Opera Theater and the Symphony of Southeast Texas.
