About Mrs. Roach:

My name is Kristie Roach and I am entering my 4th year of teaching. I taught 3.5 years in 7th grade RELA prior to moving into Dyslexia. I received my bachelors in History, with a minor in Teacher Education, from the University of Houston - Clear Lake. I also recently graduated with my Masters in Curriculum & Instruction, with an emphasis on Reading & Literacy from Texas A&M University. I am certified to teach grades 4-8 RELA, ESL supplemental, G/T certified, and excitingly, I am also a certified Reading Specialist for grades K-12. In my personal life, I am married to my wonderful husband, have two boys (3 years old and 1 year old), and two dogs. We enjoy spending as much time as possible as a family enjoying new experiences and making memories.
