**Humble ISD guidelines: Missing assignments must be made up within a 2-week time-frame.**
Classroom Procedures
- Enter the class quietly.
- Take out your Interactive Notebook.
- Place your backpacks in the designated area.
- Sit in your assigned seat.
- Complete your Warm-up.
- Wait quietly for instructions.
Tardy Policy
- Be on time.
- All tardies will be documented.
- Please see HMS Tardy Policy for details.
- No passes will be written in the first 10 minutes or the last 10 minutes of class.
- There is ample time between transition of classes to take care of personal needs (restroom, water bottle)
HMS Essential 10
1. Make eye contact when someone is speaking and respond to adults with “Yes ma’am” or “No sir.”
6. Follow specific classroom protocols even when a guest teacher is present, all class rules still apply.
2. Respect other students’ comments, opinions, and ideas.
7. If someone bumps into you, say excuse me, even if it was not your fault.
3. Surprise others by performing random acts of kindness.
8. Learn from your mistakes and move on.
4. Answer all written questions with a complete sentence.
9. If anyone is bullying you, let me (an adult) know.
5. Transitioning will be swift, quiet, and orderly.
10. Be the best person YOU can be.

Science Tutorials are by parent and student request 24 hours in advance to schedule in Google Form; availability before school, during Huddle, and after school Monday-Thursday.

Late buses run to all neighborhoods starting at 5:00 PM. (Students must know address)
**Any student not walking home, MUST ride bus home**
