Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year!About Dr. Cantu
Hello, I am Dr. Melody Cantu. I am Woodcreek's Emergent Bilingual Lead Teacher. This is my 12th year in Education. I have a doctorate degree in curriculum and instruction, a master's degree in school counseling with a counseling and development certificate, two bachelor's degrees in criminology and sociology, and an associate's degree in criminal justice. I married my high school sweetheart in 2010. I am a boy mom, three boys to be exact. I love to read, rest by my pool, and work out. I believe all students can learn and succeed in their own way and am a huge advocate of mental health matters. I am here to support and advocate for all students while fostering a culturally diverse community.
