• Howdy,

     

    I'm Coach Coovert and I'll be teaching Advanced Placement and Dual Credit U.S. History, as well as Advanced Placement European History. I am also an Assistant JV/Varsity Coach for Football as well as the Assistant Wrestling Coach. 

    Education:

    Bachelor of History from Texas A&M University

    Masters of Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University

    Masters of History from Sam Houston State University

    Career:

    Entering my 9th year of teaching and 6th year of coaching.

    This will be my third year at The Park. 

    I previously taught the following classes: World Geography; World Geography Pre-AP; AP Human Geography; World History; U.S. History, AP U.S. History and Dual Credit U.S. History. 

    I've also coached Football, Basketball,Track and Powerlifting.

    Family:

    My family is growing, I'm currently married and I have a 85 pound Anatolian/Pyrenes Mix dog named Spencer.
