Mr. Peak is originally from Louisville, Kentucky, where he recieved his Bachelor's in Music Education from the University of Louisville! Go Cards! This is his 6th year of teaching (4th at TMS).
During his time at UofL, Mr. Peak was activately involved in both the choir and band world. He was the President of the Singing Cardsmen, UofL's premeire mens chorus, and has performed with them at both the Kentucky Music Educator's Association Winter Conference (2016) and at Carnegie Hall in New York City (2017). He also was a member of the University of Louisville's Cardinal Marching Band (drum major and trumpet section leader), Symphonic Band (Principal Trumpet), Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, and the National Association of Music Education (President).
Currently, Mr. Peak is an active performer with the Houston Symphony Chorus and the Lake Houston Chamber Choir. During his free time, Mr. Peak loves exploring the outdoors with his wife and his two dogs, Pepper and Leia. When stuck inside on a rainy day, Mr. Peak is usually found watching Star Wars, playing Xbox, or binge-watching a new show on Netflix.
