 It’s another beautiful day in Kingwood with highs reaching 88.  Step outside at lunch today and enjoy the weather.  There’s a tropical disturbance heading our way that could bring rain starting Sunday, but today and Saturday should be just perfect.

Want to become one step closer to being a polyglot? Come to Kingwood Linguistics Club today during B Block in room 4302.  Sra. Baralt will be teaching Portuguese.

Juniors and Seniors:  Monday is the last day to apply for the Chick-fil-A leadership academy.  Earn service hours while helping your school and the community…and hey…it’s Chick-fil-A!  Stop by the college room and see Mrs. Malone for more information.

If you are interested in countries and events around the world, developing skills in diplomacy, meeting new people, public speaking, and the art of persuasion, join the Kingwood Model United Nations club. Model UN is an academic simulation of the United Nations where students play the role of delegates from different countries and attempt to solve real world issues with the policies and perspectives of their assigned country.  The first club meeting will be an Ice Cream Social in "B" block on Wednesday in Ms. McClung's classroom 2102.
