Hello, and thank you for letting me be a part of the Woodcreek Community. I am excited about being a WCMS Lion! 2022-23 will be my 5th year at Woodcreek and my 11th year of teaching.
I will be teaching Algebra this year. I have been teaching Algebra at the 8th grade level all but one year of my teaching career (my 1st year at Woodcreek I taught 7th PreAp and 8th Math.) I bring a breadth of experience and a true passion for Algebra (I truly enjoy teaching it.) I received my BBA in International Business from Sam Houston State University and spent a large portion of my professional career in corporate world and the Armed Forces. Prior to becoming a teacher, I would change careers (or jobs) every 3-4 years, Teching has truly been more rewarding than any benefit or paycheck I have ever received.
My official tutoring days are Tuesday and Wednesday Afternoons from 4:05-4:35. I can be available on other days and times given prior notice and planning.
My conference period is 3rd period. Feel free to contact me to discuss what I can do to make your child's experience in Algebra a positive one. I feel that your emails and calls could NEVER be intrusive or "too much". It's your child and I am always willing to discuss how WE can ensure their success.
