Welcome Fifth graders! I am super excited to see you all this year and help you grow to your fullest potential. This is my 6th year at Willow Creek Elementary and my 11th year in education. I'm passionate about reading and writing and can't wait to help motivate you all to be even better readers and writers. 

My origin story begins in the little town of Hazel Green, Wisconsin. It has only 1,200 people there, and I decided after college to move out of the tiny town and jump into a large city of Houston, Texas, where I have lived since 2010. My life has been a journey to Humble ISD, and I can't wait to share my experiences with your amazing children and learn from them as well.

I was married in 2016, to my wife Rachelle, and we have two beautiful daughters, Jayda James and Lily Belle Harvey. Jayda is currently 7 months and will turn 1 in January, and Lily will turn 3 in October.  We also have two dogs, Brooke and Brittnay, also girls. The hashtag that sums up my life is #girldad because even the dogs are girls, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I am looking forward to a great year in 5th grade and please let me know if you have and questions or concerns.
