Pfizer Vaccine Available to Ages 16 and up at NRG Park
Harris County Public Health has announced that the Pfizer vaccine can be administered to those ages 16 and older and is available at NRG Park. Appointments are not necessary but a parent must accompany their teen to provide consent and receive the vaccine. More Information on Pfizer Vaccine at NRG Park
Middle School #10 Attendance Zone Options
Humble ISD held a Community Input Webinar on April 26, to discuss attendance zone options for Middle School #10 opening in August 2022. Parents received a unique link to share their input regarding the attendance zone options. Community members are also welcome to share input.
At the April 13 School Board Meeting, information was presented on a no mask contact tracing study and vaccination progress. Video from the Board Meeting during this presentation.
2021-2022 Kindergarten Roundup Dates Announced
Humble ISD Schools have scheduled open houses or Kindergarten Roundups during the last three weeks of April. These events provide an opportunity for families to learn about the kindergarten program and registration process. Students must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2021 to qualify for Kindergarten. Roundup dates and times by campus.
Humble ISD Expands Options for Student COVID Testing
Humble ISD has partnered with community organizations to provide additional choices for families who would like their child tested for COVID-19. All testing is optional and offered as convenient local solutions. NEW FOR 2021: Option for students experiencing symptoms or a close contact.

District of Innovation Proposed Amendment & Renewal
The District Decision Making Committee has approved the renewal of Humble ISD’s current District of Innovation Plan for an additional five (5) year term, as well as certain amendments to update the Plan to reflect current law and TEA recommendations.
