Back To School Packet Pick Up
Packet Pickup and Registration for Returning Students:    
 Wednesday, August 143:00 – 6:00 p.m.
 

 Parents:

Please pick up your student’s "Back to School" packet of required district forms and complete the online update for returning students.  Watch our website for information regarding online registration update.

 

*You must provide current proof of residency (Gas, Electric, or Water Bill dated June or July 2013).*

 

Camp Leopard Registration
“Registration” for ALL Returning Students:    
Thursday, August 22nd  (LSE Cafeteria)3:00 – 5:00 by grade level: Kinder, 1st and 2nd
5:00 – 7:00 by grade level: 3rd, 4th and 5th

 

Packets must be completed and turned in to receive your Safari Tour ticket/teacher assignment.  Once you receive your ticket, you can go and see your child’s classroom and briefly meet his/her teacher.  Please note:  This is not Orientation Night.

 

During this time, the following will be collected:

  • Student supply/field trip fee ($20.00, cash only)
  • PTO party fee of $10.00 for Winter Party and Friendship Party
  • PTO will be ready to sign up new members ($5.00) and the Spirit Shop will be open

 

Orientation Night
Parents are invited to attend this informative orientation at the designated times below:

 

Kindergarten and 1st Grade – Thursday, September 5th from 5:00 – 5:45

 

2nd and 3rd Grade – Tuesday, September 3rd from 5:00 – 5:45

 

4th and 5th Grade – Thursday, August 29th from 5:00 – 5:45

 

 

Specials Programs – Your teacher will contact you directly regarding orientation times.

 

 

***If unable to attend packet pickup or registration, packets will be available in the front foyer at Camp Leopard on Thursday, August 22nd.

Plan to arrive EARLY the first day of school if you missed your registration day to complete your packet.

 STAAR
When will STAAR Results be Available?

The STAAR performance standards for grades 3-8 will be determined in late October 2012 by the Texas Education Agency and will be applied when scores are reported to districts in January of 2013.  Once the STAAR results are reported in January 2013, individual student results will be reported to parents.   Since the state has not established passing standards, promotion requirements will not include the use of STAAR results for the 2011-2012 school year.

    The results of the Parent Survey are now on our website under the Our School tab and Campus Information. You can click HERE for this year's results.

  • Back to School ACT NOW TO BE READY FOR THE 2013-14 SCHOOL YEAR
     
    For the 2013-14 school year, parents will need to update BACK TO SCHOOL student information online.  The previous paper intensive process has been replaced with an online option using the parent Home Access Center (HAC).    Updates to student's information can be made beginning August 5, 2013.  It is very important that the campus (not just the homeroom teacher) have your correct email information.  If you are not sure please contact the LSE office ASAP (281-641-3503).
     
    If you have not set up a HAC account, go to this webpage: https://eshac.humble.k12.tx.us/homeaccess/  For assistance, you may contact your campus until June 13th.  If you require assistance setting up a HAC account during the summer please call 281-641-8183.

    Arrival / Dismissal Procedures
    The front driveway is open for arrival after 7:45 am. Access will only be given as a left hand turn from the Lakeshore Landing Dr. overflow route. Please refer to the arrival map under Headlines for a reference. A staff member will be out front to assist.  The route for dismissal is available as a map under Headlines as well. Click on the link to access both maps.

    Your child can be on the morning announcements for their special occasion just by filling out a Shout Out form and sending in $5. You can even email a short video of yourself making the announcement. The money donated will go to our Technology Production crew to buy new equipment and props for our daily News.
