Don't forget to set up your Home Access Center account if you have not done so already. This site will enable you to view grades (3-5) and attendance. You will also need the account to do the annual returning student update that will take place before school starts next year. All students are required to have the update online in order to complete required forms and insure that parent contact information is current and the student information for the nurse and office are correct. Links to HAC are on the Timbers home page and Humble ISD page as well under the parent tab. This process will be required for all returning students and will be open starting August 5th, 2014. Students will not be assigned a homeroom until their Annual Returning Student update has been completed. Students will also be required to provide current proof of address at the Back to School Bash.
Timbers Elementary is an official No Place for Hate school. The No Place for Hate initiative provides educators and students with the resources to ensure that anti-bias and diversity education are an integral part of the school curriculum. The initiative is about establishing a school-wide atmosphere which addresses appreciating differences, respect and kindness toward others and anti-bullying.A committee of students and staff will be planning school wide activities that will help promote a positive school climate for all of our students at Timbers. We are excited about The No Place for Hate program and how it can empower our students to promote respect.
Parents may purchase a birthday treat for their child's class during their lunch time. Frozen treats may be purchased from the cafeteria for 75 cents each to be distributed after the children finish their lunch. Please notify the cafeteria at 281-641-2008 one week prior to the event in order to have enough treats on hand for all interested.
