Due to Blue Bell Creameries' voluntary recall of all their products, Humble ISD will not sell Blue Bell products for the remainder of the school year. Any Blue Bell trucks seen at our schools this week are picking up remaining products.
Camp Nobis Est is a fun and exciting summer camp for incoming sixth graders. This week long experience provides students study skills, college and career readiness, ROPES activities, and Why Try training. Students will develop self-confidence and build relationships with peers that will be attending their cluster middle schools. Follow up will include meeting regularly with their middle school counselors. Our goal is to help students be academically, and affectively successful on their middle school campuses. (This camp is for incoming 6th graders ONLY)

This year Timbers Elementary will be participating in the Deerbrook Mall "My School is Cool Program". Our school will earn points for every dollar spent at the mall...this includes food court and the AMC movie theatre!! The program runs from August 1st, 2014 through April 30th, 2015. At that time Deerbrook Mall will award money to the Humble ISD schools with the most points!!
Timbers Elementary is an official No Place for Hate school. The No Place for Hate initiative provides educators and students with the resources to ensure that anti-bias and diversity education are an integral part of the school curriculum. The initiative is about establishing a school-wide atmosphere which addresses appreciating differences, respect and kindness toward others and anti-bullying.A committee of students and staff will be planning school wide activities that will help promote a positive school climate for all of our students at Timbers. We are excited about The No Place for Hate program and how it can empower our students to promote respect.
