Heart & Stroke Walk

Join our school’s Heart Walk Team!

Our school will be well represented with an outstanding Heart Walk Team at the Greater Lake Houston Heart Walk on Saturday, Nov. 8, at Lone Star College-Kingwood. Heart Walks occur throughout the Houston area to support walking as a healthy lifestyle and to raise money for the American Heart Association. You can support this initiative by joining our team or by supporting a walker. It’s free to register! It's free to walk! Registered walkers collect donations, including online contributions, benefiting the American Heart Association.

One in 88 children are born with heart disease, and cardiovascular disease is the nation’s number one killer. Since 1924, the American Heart Association has funded research that has resulted in lives saved through innovations including the first artificial heart valve, modern CPR techniques, implantable pacemakers, cholesterol drugs, and more.

The Heart Walk is a non-competitive fitness event and a great way to have fun while making a positive difference! To join our team or learn more, please visit www.humbleisd.net/heartwalk
