  • G/T Testing and Referral - Kindergarten testing

    Initial assessment of all kindergarten students for the Gifted and Talented (G/T) program will take place between October 20 and November 21. If a student qualifies to take the achievement test, a parent referral and consent form will be sent home. The second test will take place between January 8 and January 30, 2015. The Building Selection Committee will determine placement of kindergarten students in the G/T program by February 6, 2015, with services to begin on February 23, 2015.

  • G/T Referral & Testing - Grades 1-12

    Any students new to Humble ISD and in grades 1-12 may be referred for the Gifted/Talented (G/T) program between November 10 and November 14, 2014. Parents or teachers may refer students for testing. If you would like to refer your child, please request information from Taylor Suszko or Jennifer Egan at 281-641-3200. Students in grades 1-12 are eligible to test for the Gifted/Talented program after a referral is received. All testing will take place on our campus during a window between January 8 and January 30, 2015.   • PLE Honor Choir/Percussion Band performs for Principals Luncheon

    Park Lakes Elementary was very proud to send several of our 5th grade Honor Choir/Percussion Band members to the Principal's Luncheon. This group, directed by Mr. Zenon, did an outstanding job and were complimented by many for their performance and good manners!

  • 9th Annual Turkey Trot - Friday, Nov. 7th

    The Turkey Trot is developed as a fun, family and community event. Whether you are walking, jogging, running or cheering, the Park Lakes Turkey Trot offers something for everyone to enjoy! We invite you to bring the whole family to PLE and become part of this proud Thanksgiving Tradition!

  • "Sir Read-a-lots Castle" Book Fair is coming!

    Come join the fun as we host another Scholastic Book Fair. Friday, Nov. 14th thru Friday, Nov. 21st. We will be hosting a "Book-nic" on Wednesday of that week so that our students can eat lunch with a loved one and then shop he Book Fair afterwards. We will also have a special Late Night Shopping day on Thursday from 5:00-8:00pm. Come join the fun and help Park Lakes earn more books for the library!

  • Winter Wonderland at PLE!

    Bring your whole family to enjoy a fun filled Saturday morning at Park Lakes! We will have carnival games, pictures with Santa, food, crafts and raffle baskets. Don't miss this annual PLE event from 9am-12 pm!

    For today's busy parents, finding a safe, enriching environment where children can spend time before school is a big concern. Champions understands your needs and offer convenient and sensible options right here at Park Lakes Elementary. This progam starts at 6:15am for your convenience.
