Join us on Tuesday, Nov. 17th after the Thanskgiving Feast, Wednesday, Nov. 18th for our annual "BOOK-NIC" (during your child's lunch time) or Thursday evening Nov. 19th from 5:00-8:00pm for our "Late Night Shopping". It will be a Buy 3 Get 1 Free event for that evening only!
2nd grade students will be involved in a Thanksgiving choir program on Thursday, Nov. 19th at 7:00pm.

If you stop by between 3:30pm & 6:30pm, Special Ed teachers and Coaches/Support will be there for a Game Night! They will host a raffle, so write your name on the back of the receipt for a chance to win. Thanks for helping our school!
Thank you to all that participated in this years Turkey Trot. We had perfect weather and the students had a blast! A huge thank you to our PTA and our wonderful Specials teachers for making our event a great one.
As a service project during their Art classes, students at PLE made Thanksgiving placemats that will be used for the Thanksgiving Feast at the Humble Civic Center. It was a great way to give back to the community in a way that our students could participate!
Houston Rocket's "Clutch" visits Park Lakes!
Students in grades 2nd-5th were excited to hear Clutch talk about how important education is and how getting a good night's sleep is essential to our brains learning and retaining information.
Park Lakes Elementary supports HERO FOR ZERO
Hero for Zero is a Superhero theme focusing on bringing awareness/education helping put a stop to bullying and bullying provoked suicides. The goal is to get teachers and students to wear Superhero shirts to show we will not stand for bullying and we will be heroes to our friends.
We have a therapy dog (Lexi) as part of our counseling team!
She is a five year old shih-tzu maltipoo mix. Lexi has been trained to work with students in counseling sessions and classroom guidance. This opportunity has been made possible by the Humble ISD Education Foundation.
