My School’s Cool is a special, community program committed to building relationships with area schools by providing cash rewards for shopping at Deerbrook Mall. Schools compete with each other for the highest accumulation of points per student and earn cash rewards. Participating schools earn points by shopping at Deerbrook Mall and submitting receipts to their school coordinator, Jennifer Nevitt. Each dollar spent at the Mall (retail stores, movies, gift cards, and restaurants) earns our school one point. Receipts have to be turned in and totaled by me at the end of each month.
Receipts can come from anyone, BBE students, parents, family members, friends--anyone who wants to support our school can help us by turning in their receipts. So please encourage everyone you know.
Prizes will be awarded at the end of the school year, and if we have the most points, we can receive up to $10,000!
It’s as easy at that--shop and turn in your receipts! There is a box in the school’s front lobby, and the Mall has a locker with our name on it if you want to turn in your receipts while you are shopping (it is located next to the Mall office downstairs by Sears).
If you don’t want to turn in your actual receipt, feel free to copy it and turn in the copy. There are also Point Passes where we can record the date, amount of purchase, and store on it. You can get those from the Mall office and from me, as I will always have them with me. Just remember to turn them in at the end of each month.
This program runs from August 2012 through April 2013.
