Waiting list starts May 6:   Contact Mrs. Mustain by phone, email, or in person to add your name to the list if you want to buy a book:

Students will be contacted in the order in which they appear on the list. If a student is not contacted then we ran out of books before reaching his/her name.  We have a very limited supply, and cannot print more books.

Books will be sold to them first come, first served for $32 cash only.

6th Grade Panthers:

Our annual awards ceremony will be this Thursday at 2:00 p.m.

   This ceremony is a way for teachers to highlight the accomplishments of YOU, the students!

   You are welcomed to "dress up" for this occasion (the dress code policy will still apply), especially if you are receiving an award, and we are excited to have this special day to honor all of your hard work during this year!

Attendance

All absence notes must be turned into the attendance office within 2 days of the absence.

Important Cell Phone Reminder!

Cell phone use is prohibited during the school day.  All phones must be turned off when a student enters the building (8:00am) and cannot be turned on again until the end of instructional time 3:55pm (8th), 4:00pm (6th and 7th).  Please note that if students do not follow this policy, their cell phone will be taken up and a fee of $15 will be charged.  A parent/guardian will be responsible for picking up their child’s phone.  Please refer to page 41 in the student handbook for more information. (Page 41, DM-14)

ID Badges

Please remember that badges must be worn on a dress code appropriate lanyard while in the TMS building.  If you forget your badge, you must stop in front of the library, across from the Attendance Office, to pick up a temporary badge.  Temporary badges are $1.  This temporary badge must be worn all day.  If you have lost your badge, a replacement may be purchased for $5, first thing in the morning, same location.  Students with outstanding fines will not be allowed to participate in Field Day, Maroon & White Banquet etc.

KENDAMA OWNERS- Kendamas must be placed in your backpack, out of sight during the school day. 

Kendama's may only be used on incentive days, during Kendama Club and after school.   

If you are interested in meeting other kids with the same interest, join the Kendama Club every Thursday and Friday morning in Ms. Meredith's room. (Room 614)

LIBRARY NOTICES:  Have you received a notice of an overdue library book?  Please come in as soon as possible to return your book.  The dollar amount on the written notice is “the replacements cost of the book”.  Don’t wait until the last minute to have your parents put this cost into their budget.  Be a good library patron and clear your

Clubs:

CSU:  Meets Thursday mornings.

FCU Fellowship of Christian Athletes meets Wednesday mornings in room 706.  Join us for praise and worship.

Anime Club meets Tuesday and Friday mornings in the library.  Come join the fun!

Kendama Club meetings are going to be on Friday mornings at 8.  All grade levels are welcome.  Students need to have a kendama to come to the meetings.  The meetings are in room #614.

Is Your Binder Falling Apart?  Need a hole puncher?  Don’t worry just drop by your library and visit the new AVID BINDER CLINIC.  Look for the red cross on the entry wall to guide you to the supplies provided for you.  Take care to have your binder in order!!
