Students who participate in the GT Program will demonstrate skills in self-directed learning, thinking, research, and communication as evidenced by innovative products and performances that reflect individuality and creativity, and are advanced in relation to students of similar age, experience, or environment. This program is offered for grades 3-5.

Fall GT Testing:
Students that are new to Humble ISD and in grades 3-12 are eligible to test for the Gifted and Talented program in October 2013. All testing takes place on our campus. Parents or teachers can nominate students for tesitng. If you would like to nominate your child, please request information from Taylor Suszko, our counselor. Current Humble ISD elementary students may test for GT in the spring. Additonal information will be provided closer to the testing dates.
Fall SPICE Testng:
Students that are new to the district 1st and 2nd graders will be tested for the Humble ISD SPICE Program. SPICE or Special People In a Creative Environment is a program designed to meet the needs of our creative students. If you have any questions, please request information from Taylor Suszko, our counselor. Current Humble ISD kindergarten students test for SPICE starting in November.
