alert Atascocita High School nurse's office is OPEN and has never been closed  due to fear about Ebola. Rumors on social media occurred on Oct. 21 after a Channel 2 news story stated that Texas Emergency Care Clinic in Atascocita had a patient who arrived at the center on Monday showing symptoms SIMILAR to Ebola. Some people misunderstood this report and then made inaccurate posts on their social media accounts. The Channel 2 report stated that the patient was at LOW RISK for the virus, and that as a precaution, the Texas Emergency Care Clinic closed off it's lobby for less than two hours while crews thoroughly cleaned the area. The patient has not been confirmed to have the virus. Get the Channel 2 news story here.
