You may email the library specialist once you have decided on a inventory date. As always, access Destiny's "Help" button for troubleshooting information relating to the Dolphins.

Preparing Your Dolphin Scanner

Destiny Help

Log into Destiny. Locate the "help" button at the upper right hand corner. Click. The above screen appears. Click on the "hardware" icon.

The above screen appears. Click on "dolphin."

The above screen appears. Follow the step by step instructions for setting up the Dolphin. Please keep in mind if you set this up last year and your computer was not reimaged, you can simply connect the Dolphin to your computer and go to the next step. Now type in the "search box" to the left of the screen, "preparing to inventory." Click on "start library inventory". (If you have any issues with the Dolphin please contact Follett Tech Support. They will guide you through troubleshooting the Dolphin)

The above screen appears. Follow the guidelines listed. Then click on the white box to the right of the screen: Overview: "Inventory (Library manager)."

Using a circulation desk scanner and laptop?
1) Download Follett remote to laptop.
2) Set up remote and decide where you want files to be saved
(District "R" drive is a good choice)
3) Plug circulation desk scanner into laptop.
4) Open up Follett remote and go to>Funtion>Library>Inventory.
5) Start scanning. When you are done go into Destiny>Backoffice>Inventory
and download into the saved inventory (see instructions above for Dolphin) you had set up previously.
