One of the seven areas defined in the district's Plan for 2010 , adopted by the Board of Trustees on July 10, 2001, as vital to the success of Humble ISD in the future is the area of technology. Humble ISD is committed to using technology for the enhancement of student achievement and improvement in the efficiency and effectiveness of district programs and services.

The Technology Services Division has the responsibility to expand and to protect the productive use of the basic information system utility through collaboration with the Cabinet, department and campus leadership. To do this, we must use sound management practices that implement changes in a way that minimizes risk to the ongoing use of the system. The Division will provide support to all departments and individual users throughout the district, in both administrative and instructional applications and functions.
