Howdy and welcome to Mrs. Romig's 4th grade classroom website! My name is Jill Romig and this is my 9th year teaching for Humble ISD and PFE.
I am a graduate of Texas A&M University - Class of 2000. I graduated with my B.S. in Recreation, Parks & Tourism Sciences with an emphasis in tourism management. After working at Minute Maid Park as the Suite Sales Coordinator for a few months I realized teaching was my calling. I completed the A.C.P. program through Region IV and St.Thomas University in 2002 with certification in Early Childhood - 4th grade education.
I grew up in a small town just east of Humble called Hardin. I have been married to my husband, Mike, for 9 years. Mike is the head athletic trainer at Atascocita High School. We have a 21 month old son named Renner and we are expecting a little girl on January 14th that we are naming Rali Faith. We are also the proud owners of a Cocker Spaniel named Ryder. I enjoy traveling, cooking, golfing, morning trips for iced mochas, Texas Country music and collecting Christmas ornaments from around the world.
I am so excited about the 2009-2010 school year. Hold on tight...it's going to be a great ride!
