Incorrect or incomplete forms will be rejected by the system and account will not be created.

Some fields are required. You will not be able to submit the forms without those fields being completed. If an employee does not have a middle initial, please use an "X" in that field.

 

  • New users' Novell, GroupWise and Call Logging (HEAT) User IDs will be the first initial of the first name and the first six letters of the last name. Example: MMALLOY   
  • For first time users, the Novell password will be the UID plus the last four digits of the social security number.Example: MMALLOY1234
  • In the event of a duplicate , Novell, GroupWise and Call Logging (HEAT) User IDs will be the first initial of the first name, the first initial of the middle name and the first six letters of the last name.  Example: Login: MKMALLOY  Password: MKMALLOY1234
  • If an employee does not have a middle initial, please use an "X" in that field.
  • Remember, there is not a GroupWise password until the user logs into GroupWise and goes to Tools, Options, Security, Password and types one in.
  • GroupWise passwords are case-sensitive and must always be typed the same way.
  • GroupWise web access will not work until a password has been set from within the district.
  • As a rule, only FULL TIME, PERMANENT part-time and Temporary Assignment Teachers (as defined by personnel) are given access to the district network. Please indicate in the Special Information section if this employee works at more than one district site. The User ID/GroupWise accounts will be created at the "home" campus-where the paycheck is received.
  • If you are requesting a login for a Temporary Assignment Teacher, please indicate in the "Special Information" field who this person is substituting for. Please remember to notify us when the employee returns to work so the TAT's account can be deleted and the employee's account re-activated.
  • Terminating and retiring employee information can be submitted on a HEAT work order.
