Quest Service-Learners spend 2 hours every friday from 9 to 11 serving community partners in the Humble ISD area. Students reflecting on their service-learning practices say that they gain many life skills such as patience an tolerance.

I CAN; I CARE; I BELONG!

QECHS Students' Service-Learning is assessed each semester in the following ways:

Partner Evaluation – Due May 10 to Mrs. Rogina

· Students cannot get an A if their partner does not submit an evaluation.

· Students can get a Partner Evaluation form from Mrs. Rogina or online on the QECHS SL Webpage>helpful documents.

Self-Evaluation – Due May 10 to Mrs. Rogina

· Students will receive the Self-Evaluation Form on the service bus Friday, Dec. 7.

Fall Written Reflection

Your Service Hours are recorded in the following ways:

· Each semester, Mrs. Rogina logs the 40 hours students receive for Friday’s Service-Learning class.

· Students need to go to the QECHS Service-Learning webpage’s Service-Learning Hours Log and put in any additional community service hours they complete.

NOTE … Additional community service hours may be used for family competitions, college applications and scholarships.
