Physical Day is April 29
This years KPHS Athletic Physical Day will be April 29th from 7:30 AM until 5 PM. Anyone that needs a physical for any activity is welcome to come get it done with us that day.  Cost is $20 See Mr.Scalia or Ms. Rockwell for any questions or to get a physical form.

hospitality  
The Hospitality Services I and II student participated in the annual Hospitality Educators Association of Texas Competition at the M.O. Campbell Center in Aldine on March 24. The 10 students in the program earned a total of 16 medals. Shout outs go the 3 KPHS participants: Caroline Johnson, Kelly Wilson and Brooke Zochert.  Kelly Wilson placed 2nd in the Job Interview Competition. Brooke and her team placed 2nd in the Marketing Campaign competition. Caroline and her team placed 3rd in the Waiter Tray Race. Other events that the Humble ISD team competed in were: Lodging Industry Test, Manager on Duty, Recriting Video creation, Recruiting Brochure creation, Banquet Set-up and more.  We want to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude to our two judges: K.H.S. Faculty member – Mrs. Diana Aston and Kingwood community member and active volunteer, Mrs. Jenny Micheletti.  The Hospitality Services program students intern at the Houston Airport Marriott Hotel 4 mornings a week. For more information about the program speak to your counselor.

Prom tickets on sale for $50.
Prom will be May 16 at the Westin-Galleria.   
Purchase them at front desk, during lunches on stage with cash or check, online with credit card or see Ms. Sanford to pay with credit card on campus. Tickets are on sale until April 30, 2015. 

Yearbooks on sale for $75. 
A limited number of books remain for sale. Books can be pre-ordered by sending cash or a check for $75 made out to Kingwood Park HS. Money can be dropped off in Room 1504 with yearbook adviser Megan Ortiz. The books will arrive in mid-May. 

Congratulations to Emily Callens!

Sophomore Emily Callens won Best of Show in the Rodeo Art Sculpture division. There were at least 300 sculptures in the competition. This is her second year to advance in the show. Last year, Callens on scholarship money for her winning entry.
