Class of 2015 Graduation

Baseball take 1-0 lead, plays second game at 4 p.m. today.
The varsity baseball team defeated Fort Bend Elkins, 3-0, in the first game of the Regional Quarterfinals. Game 2 is at 4 p.m. at Sweeney HS. The field is right behind Sweeney JH. Testing Schedules for May

Parking Applications being accepted now  
Attention ALL students, your parking applications are now being accepted in room 1600. Make sure you attach a copy of your driver’s license and insurance. Also all badge fines, library fines and textbook fines must be paid and signed off by your AP secretary and librarian Mrs. Parrish before applications are accepted.  Parking passes are distributed on a first-come-first serve basis, so turn them in as soon as possible!
If you have not picked up a parking application, you may do so in room 1600 as well. Applications will be accepted until the last day of school! NO EXCEPTIONS!!

PTA Scholarship winners
Congratulations to Emily Powers, Jourdan Bartels, Avery Harlan, Sarah Clarke and Virginia Ruggles for being selected as winners of Humble ISD Council of PTAS scholarships.  There were 54 applications submitted, and 19 students were honored with this scholarship. Five were from Kingwood Park High School.  The students were selected based on filling all of the criteria for the Humble ISD Council of PTAs application and for writing outstanding essays on how PTA has impacted their lives.

PTA Student Service Award Winners
PTA volunteers  
Austin Lewis and Josiah Carroll  were honored with Humble ISD Council of PTAs Student Service Awards 2014-2015 for their outstanding contributions of volunteerism, leadership, and their desire to give back to their school and community.  They were two students of fifteen honorees, selected from 33 applications from all grade levels in Humble ISD.  Congratulations and thank you to Austin and Josiah for their selfless contributions to Kingwood Park and their community.

The Zoo Experience 
 Several students enjoyed a day at the zoo recently. The students had spent all year working together to create strong friendships and help each other with classwork.
