Welcome to the Humble High School Science Department web page. We are committed to helping students develop a life-long interest in science through a standards-based curriculum that includes investigation and experimentation. Our department goal is create and utilize formative assessment strategies that allows for the feedback and academic growth of student achievement and teacher responsiveness.
 
Students will improve their scientific literacy by becoming proficient readers of science text, able to interpret and apply course concepts to current scientific issues.  Students will develop an understanding of how science impacts their daily lives.
