The purpose of Atascocita Middle School NJHS shall be to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote worthy leadership, and to encourage the development of character and citizenship in all students of AMS.
 
2012-2013 School Year:  Incoming 7th and 8th grade students who have maintained 87 or higher in core subjects,  have good conduct, and have completed community service hours may apply for NJHS membership by downloading the NJHS Application Packet under Helpful Documents and completing the application form. The deadline for submission is Friday, September 28. Completed packets may be dropped off at the AMS front office. The AMS NJHS Faculty Council makes the final decision on acceptance of members.
