Absence Line / Absence Reporting

Official attendance time for ADA is 10:00 AM. When your child is absent from school, please call the absence line at 281-641-2619 (before 9:00 AM). The attendance line is accessible 24 hours a day. Leave a message with your child's name, date of absence, teacher's name, and a reason for the absence. When your child returns to school send a written and dated excuse to the front office explaining the absence. Please bring a note from the physician's office if your child was absent due to an appointment. We must have the written excuse on record within three days of your child's return to school. Any student coming to school after 10:00 AM without a doctor note is considered absent on the official attendance accounting records.
