  • Be the Change Week - The Great Kindness Challenge of 2015

    The week of January 26th - 30th, Pine Forest Elementary students and staff are participating in "The Great Kindness Challenge" in an effort to committing to be the change! This is a week dedicated to performing millions of acts of kindness on campuses nationwide! We will also be focusing on being positive supports for one another in an effort to stop bullying! Support PFE in creating a bully-free, safe and caring school environment by asking your child how s/he has shown kindness towards others!

  • Big Kahuna Coming Soon!

    Our spring 2015 school-wide fundraiser will kick-off on January 21st! Watch for information coming home with students that day….super prizes, including Hummer limo ride to lunch! Thanks for supporting our school!

  • Congratulations Spelling Bee Participants!

    PFE held our annual school-wide spelling bee on January 8. The top spellers from grades 2-5 participated. Congratulations to our champion, fifth-grader Lucy Sullivan, and to our runner-up, third-grader Jenna Watson.

  • Polar Express Day was Fun for All

    Polar Express Day was a huge success in December thanks to our amazing PTA, local businesses, parent/grandparent volunteers, Dr. Sconzo, and the Panther Staff. Your gift of time means the world to us in making this holiday memory continue on as a special tradition for our students. Please know how much we appreciate each and everyone of you.   • Science Fair Coming March 24

    Science Fair March 24th Science Fair is required from 4th and 5th graders. Kinder-3rd are encouraged to participate. Info packets are going home with 4th and 5th graders this week (1/6/15).

  • STAAR Date Change

    Fifth and Eighth grade math STAAR test date has changed. The state originally scheduled the test for Monday, March 30, but has pushed that date back to Monday, April 20.

    PFE honored our Veterans with the annual Veterans Day Tribute on November 7. See the slide show of the event.

  • Dressing Their Best

    PFE Student Council members held a school wide clothing drive called The Traveling Closet, for gently used dress clothes for our neighboring schools, Lakeland Elementary and North Belt elementary.
