Previous communication regarding the bat:
Harris County informed us early this evening that the dead bat found on the playground on Monday, Oct. 27, tested positive for rabies. Parents of students identified as having contact with the dead bat have been personally notified this evening. No additional information is available at this time, but an update will be sent to all parents on Thursday. Get the parent letter that was sent on Monday here.
