Students who ride a bicycle should follow all safety procedures and avoid streets with heavy traffic.  Bikers should use the greenbelts whenever possible.  Upon arriving on school property, please walk your bike.

CMS provides a fenced in area behind the school for bicycles to be parked.  Students should keep their bikes secured

with a chain and lock in the bike rack area at all times as there have been unlocked bikes stolen from school.

Skateboards are not allowed in the school building.  Skateboards will not fit in the school lockers.  Please do not ask

for skateboards to be left in the Front Office or classrooms.  Skateboards may be ridden to school but must be left in the bike rack area and be secured to the bike rack poles

If you are a CMS athlete, either leave your bike at home on game day or make arrangements for your bike to be picked

up after school.  DO NOT leave your bike overnight or late in to the evening. 

Students staying after school for tutoring, d-hall or club meetings should bring their bikes inside the building. 

These students can leave their bikes outside the classroom door.

If you leave school due to an illness,

please make arrangements for your bike to be picked up.
