Welcome to art at Summerwood Elementary! 

This year, we will explore many different areas of art from the basics of line and shape to artists and cultures.  You can read about what we're doing each week by clicking on "This Week in Art" in the side menu.  Throughout the year, students may have their work displayed around the school and in public locations such as local libraries, Columbia Kingwood Hospital, and the Humble ISD Administration Building. 
 
I am shared with Fall Creek Elementary, so students will have art in 9-week blocks.  I am teaching at SWE in the first and third nine weeks, and I am teaching at FCE in the second and fourth nine weeks.
