8th grade students will have binder checks on a weekly basis. This counts as a grade in history class. Please make sure they are staying organized! It is a key to their success.
 
Parents:  Please make sure your child is keeping up with their flash cards!!! Please encourage them to be studying these at home.
         How can you help??
                  -Hold the flashcards, with the term facing you, and have your student give you the definition
                  -Hold the flashcards, with the definition facing you, and have your student give the term
                  -Offer them a reward, if they get 5 in a row!!
