Hello! I am Racquel Shows, and I am very pleased to introduce myself as your child's 4th grade teacher!

This is my 4th year teaching 4th grade and I absolutely love it! I graduated from the University of Houston- Clear Lake in 2008 with a Bachelors Degree in General Education. I had my internship experience in GCCISD where I student-taught 1st grade. I began my teaching career at Humble Elementary where I taught 4th grade my first year. The remainder of my teaching years have taken place here at Atascocita Springs Elementary where YOU MATTER! Elementary school teaching has always been a passion of mine, and I am so thrilled to share my time at ASE with all of you!
Education is such an important part of my life. I am extremely enthusiastic about having the opportunity to teach your child as I am always learning from my students as well. Learning is so much fun and I am lucky that it is apart of my daily life routine!

I have a wonderful family at home! My husband's name is Mr. Casey Shows, and we just got married on June 1, 2012. We have a spoiled little Maltese puppy named Janci Jo who turned 3 years old on June 29. She sure is a trouble-maker! :)
