College Field Trips

Trips

 
Each AVID class goes on a college field trip every semester.  These trips are wonderful opportunities for students to learn about what college is going to be like and what options await them.  Often these days are the most remembered and valued for AVID students and their teachers. 
 
Trips have been a great way to focus on what the goal is - getting to college.

Students have visited Rice, Texas A&M, Lone Star College Kingwood, The University of Houston, Sam Houston State, Lamar, Stephen F. Austin, UTSA, St. Thomas and many others.
