Susan Tibbetts - Humble ISD AVID District Director

SusanSusan Tibbetts earned her B.S. degree in Education from Lamar University and her Masters in Counseling from Sam Houston State University.  She has served Humble ISD since 1983 as a high school science teacher, counselor, lead counselor and a variety of other leadership roles.  
 
Mrs. Tibbetts loves working with students and is very passionate about helping them find their way into a college or university.  She says, "The bigger the challenge, the better!"  With her many years of college counseling experience to draw upon, Mrs. Tibbetts looks forward to developing an outstanding AVID program for the students of Humble ISD.

Anita Youngblood - Humble ISD AVID Office Professional

AnitaMrs. Youngblood is the office professional for both AVID and IB.  She has proudly served the Humble ISD for the past 16 years as an administrative assistant to WHE, KMS, and the curriculum center.  She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Marketing from Southwest Texas State University (Texas State University). 
 
Mrs. Youngblood is ready to assist staff, parents, students, and community members with all aspects of AVID.
